The main goal in the game is to help the various characters, but what exactly they are and how to find it will have to be determined right during the game. The first thing that can help is observation, so no matter what level of the game you’re at, try to examine everything first. If you don’t find anything, use a magnifying glass, carefully examining everything several times. The first thing you’ll notice when zooming in is the gold coins. Collect themâ€â€ÂÂthey might be useful for solving some of the mysteries. Any other items you find should be placed in Dan’s backpack for easy use. For example, a piece of cheese might lure a mouse, which in turn might become bait for a cat, and so onâ€â€ÂÂdepending on the situation. But don’t be afraid, wherever you end up, the detective is now the boss in every story, even if your investigation involves encountering a werewolf or some other terrifying creature. Remember, logic and reason will always prevail, and if things get really tough and you think there’s no solution, use a hint. You’ll need a mouse to play.
