To climb high or knock down a jewel, use the magic ladder by pressing Space or Q. When bats and other monsters appear, knock them down with the ladder. Collect all the jewels to complete the level. Sometimes you will have to use your wits to remove obstacles in your path. For example, tap the floor or ceiling tiles to raise a slab blocking your way. To break through a wooden floor with a ladder, press Down + Space and descend. Pause with P or Esc. Stand on the slab hovering over the lava lake, release the ladder, and climb it to avoid the flying fireballs.
