The numbers on the left and top indicate how many cells should be colored in a row. The numbers at the top represent vertical rows, and the numbers on the left represent horizontal rows. Experts recommend starting with the largest numbers. This way, you can completely color a row vertically and horizontally, and then use them as a guide.
