Let’s start with the modes – there are several, each with its own tasks and objectives, although in principle, you’ll be clearing out infected enemies in all of them. One mode involves completing missions according to the storyline, while the other involves fighting in a confined space, or arena. Prepare to shoot at anything moving or dangerous, but don’t fire into thin air. Your warrior will generally have plenty of weapons, but at the beginning of a mission, it’s best to conserve your firepower; no one knows what will happen next. The best way to conserve is to fire one bullet at a time, killing one zombie or other target, such as a bloodthirsty giant rat. In close combat, it’s better to use a large knife; it’s quieter, won’t attract attention, and your ammo will last. However, in close combat, you can lose some health, which is restored with first aid kits. Game Controls: movement – AWSD, jump – spacebar, shift – acceleration, weapon switch – 1-8, reload – R, interaction – F, grenade – G, shoot and look – mouse.
