Each opponent has their own obstacle course, represented by a track with basketball hoops installed on it. But why an obstacle course then? Probably because the basketball hoop is mounted on a high pedestal, and before throwing the ball into it, its height must be shortened. There’s only one way to do this: by knocking the pads off the pedestal, and only then jumping and using the trampoline to literally “drive” the ball into the basket.
