Before starting a resource extraction mission, you will be prompted to access the upgrade menu for your mining tool. However, all upgrades are only available for in-game currency, which is currently very limited. With in-game currency, you can improve the speed of mining, battery capacity (allowing you to continue mining), and the amount of money you earn for the work itself. Once you start drilling, monitor the drill’s heat level to avoid overheating and breaking it. Try to immediately improve its performance by earning some money. Once you’ve earned some currency, you can consider upgrading the drill’s material; this will allow you to cut through hard rock faster and earn more. Use the ASDW keys to control the drill.
