It’s best to avoid encountering either the former or the latter during the quest, which involves dividing and separating your land. You can, in principle, fence off the stars at the beginning of the adventure, but you need to do it quickly, otherwise you’ll be touched and ultimately lose. Alternatively, simply fence off small sections, increasing the area you occupy one by one until you have enough to proceed to the next level.
