As the game progresses through many levels of varying difficulty, the player and a Pokémon trainer will not only assemble a team of charges but also overcome various challenges. In each level, a trainer will be located at the starting point of the track leading to the arena where the monster fight will take place. The player will take control of this character by pressing the arrow keys on the keyboard. They must help the player assemble a team of monsters by directing them to the egg locations. Additionally, the collected monsters must be empowered by leading them through special green portals. The hero must also collect various items that will help destroy obstacles along the way. Once the team reaches the finish line, its members will battle their opponents.
